Mission Statement My goal is to educate the whole being of my students so that they may succeed in anything they may do.
As a teacher I want to build strong relationships, teach from a holistic approach, and nurture curiosity, creativity and self-discovery through movement. Responding with humor, hope, and empathy is the key to building a relationship. A strong relationship between the student and teacher is the key to a successful classroom. I want to give my students the opportunity to grow as a student and a citizen. I plan to give my students responsibility and teach them how to be the best person they can be. Movement is also a key part to my philosophy. My classroom will involve hands-on activities so that all students are engaged in their education. They will have the opportunity to create questions for themselves. As I focus on building those relationships and teaching the students from a holistic approach, I will be able to encourage curiosity, creativity, and self-discovery in my classroom.
